NEW YORK (Mint) Up to 400,000 activists, organizations, and people from all over the world marched in New York City over the weekend to express solidarity in the fight against climate change. The People’s Climate March reportedly brought out the greatest numbers of people since opposition to the Iraq War hit its peak in 2003. The event, which collectively made no demands, was organized to precede Tuesday’s U.N. Climate Summit. MintPress News was on the ground in New York to hear participants’ cries for change and pleas for solutions.
