In this four-part series, I ask Dr. Chomsky to discuss anarcho-syndicalism, the Tea Party and its anarchistic tactics, current events in the Middle East, and how the human race should approach collective global problems, such as nuclear proliferation, restructuring of the education system, environmental degradation, and the huge gap between rich and poor. I was attempting to get him to explain how humanity can build a better world as it seems (to me) that anarcho-syndicalism does a good job at tearing down structures but not building them up. I was trying to get him to hypothesize about another system.
